Creating heart cell models

Penny Noble has been implementing cardiac electrophysiology models in CellML ever since the CellML project began over 10 years ago. She has been a member of the Oxford Cardiac Electrophysiology Group in the UK since 1996, working under the supervision of Professor Denis Noble.

Curating - or fixing - those models

In addition to developing cardiac cell models in CellML, Penny is also a talented curator, translating cardiac cell models from other groups into CellML. In addition, her extensive knowledge in this area is invaluable to the Auckland curators.

Penny's favourite CellML tool

To write, validate and simulate her models Penny uses Cellular Open Resource (COR).
