  • Autumn, put up links to websites of projects using CellML.

  • Sergey's question - How would you code in CellML “a drug modifies a current by decreasing it by 50%”? This is outside the scope of CellML because it's simulation information, but it needs to be addressed eventually. Statement in the FAQ? Poul suggests checking the SBML mailing lists because there was a recent discussion about keeping this information separate from the language. Input parameters?

  • CellML - rename? First proposed by Nigel Lovell who thinks the name is misleading. CellML is a computational environment with lots of layers. What CellML is now + Ontologies = the real CellML. In other words, CellML has a wider application than biology. Boundary conditions separated from actual models. Shane and David suggest that there should be a separate specification without mention of cells or biology. They'll also decide on a new name - MathML+?

  • Poul would like to see Catherine publish a paper on the CellML model repository and the process of coding up models.

  • (Matt) People are unclear about what CellML is trying to achieve. Homework over the holidays: go through CellML requirements list and annotate. Recursively define what roles tools are trying to achieve. Think about the development of the community part of the website. Develop a timetable of formal development and coding objective. Think about having a group work on the Physiome project's agenda.
