7th International CellML Workshop (2013)

The very successful 7th International CellML Workshop was held on the 25th and 26th of March 2013 at the Goldie Vineyard on Waiheke Island, Auckland, New Zealand.

CellML is an open standard language being developed by the Auckland Bioengineering Institute and international collaborators to store and exchange computer-based mathematical models of biological processes. The annual International CellML Workshop provides an opportunity to update users on recent developments and discuss future work with the standard with the CellML community. Delegates to the workshop in 2013 included visitors from the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Germany, and France as well as MWC affiliates, and staff and students from the University of Auckland. Several smaller, more focussed, meetings were hosted by the Auckland Bioengineering Institute before and after the workshop to take advantage of the large number of international visitors travelling to Auckland for the workshop, including on the ontological annotation of computational models and the use of CellML in the field of agent based modelling.

Sponsors

The 7th International CellML Workshop is jointly sponsored by the Auckland Bioengineering Instutite and the Maurice Wilkins Centre.
