Original model status:

PCEnv error: over constrained Not coded up with reaction elements.

Work done on model:

Extraneous equation is in math element with ID 14 (component “differential equations”) Tried deleting each equation (of 12) sequentially, > more than one equation is causing model to be overconstrained. Deleting these equations causes the model to be underconstrained. Error = ? - 16/05/07 – will come back to this model later.

Found XPP code for this model. Can run model in XPP. Model uses compartmentation, so need to work out how this is used in model, then can code up model using XPP code as a base. The XPP code defines a stimulus that adds a certain concentration of IP3 to the system. This might be the reason that the model doesn't work.
