Motivation

There is a perception that valid CellML models may only use the currently defined subset of MathML elements, which is undesirable. The current subset is also very limiting, although increasing the size of the subset would potentially increase the burden on application developers aiming for CellML compliance.

Proposal

Either abolish the concept of a CellML subset of MathML or extend the current subset.
