The initial release. This supports DOM Level 2 Events, but not CellML Events yet,

This code has been tested on:
  • Linux/x86 (Ubuntu, but should work on any system with a recent gcc and libxml2).
  • AIX/PPC32
  • Darwin(OS X)/PPC32
  • Irix/MIPS (32 bit build)
  • Win32 (cross compiled from Linux)
